This image was selected to represent the 50th Anniversary Sister Cities International Festival honoring Chicago-Milan at Chicago's Daley Plaza. The fantastical white-and-powder-blue image captures Milan’s signature Duomo as if it’s a castle emerging from the clouds. It shows the city’s Piazza del Duomo of the past, as the fountain that graces her image has since been dismantled.
